Almost there
The three or so friends I have on FacebookTubeSpacehave noticed some rather spurious countdown-style status updates lately. This has all been down to the fact that I'm nearing the end of my involvement a business I've been running for ten years. It would be true to say that the split with my business partner has been less than amicable, but that story is not for these pages....

Sorry to hear that the last days in business are not as fun as you might have hoped. But I'm sure your new profession will be lots .... think of all those long school holidays.
And also thanks for the link to the GE blog. I'm a huge SF fan and already like what he writes.
He's an old school buddy from way back. I've always loved his writing and was thrilled when he had his first book published. I'm not sure if they're in print but I have copies if you want to borrow them. I've also got a couple of unpublished books which I reckon are just great too. I can ask Graham if it'll be OK to let you have a read

Myself, I'm glad the holidays are over as me and tot can reclaim all the playgrounds around here!
Started last week, today was the first in class with children. My estimation of teachers goes up each time I spend a day in class. On the downside, my confidence on being able to do what they do diminishes each time! But I am assured everyone feels this way so am ignoring it!
